Prayers for you son... that its a minor thing..

On day 20 with my home made bator That 25 watt bulb has held the temp unbelievably even so far. Was thiinking to whip up a few more as they are so cheap to do ...well this ome cost me ZERO as i had an old lamp and some plexiglass and left over hardware cloth thats all you need except the cooler and took less than 1/2 hour to assemble. stripping the wire and rewiring without the lamp base took the longest.and that wasnt long.
Doesnt hold a lot of eggs as its a $2.50 Walmart cooler narrow bottom but i m pretty excited to see what i get.Cant believe this temp and no regulator even steven Better not brag might go in and have it 104!!LOL

Went to clean the bator out from my last hatch and found a pipped egg.Didnt break thru just cracked the shell Dont know what happened its in the rigth spot.Put it back in in case but heard no peep when i tapped it.

Day 14 tomorrow!!!! I'm pooped!!!! Got my cookies taken care of, just a few more to deal with -then cookie season is over. I'm looking forward to spring break, going to see some family, going to take my daughter to the zoo, some museums etc.

Eggs are looking really good, nice development on all but two. I left them in but I am watching them very closely. Well hope everyone has a nice day, I hope the wind doesn't blow me away. I feel like I live in a wind tunnel. I mean geez!!!!! Anywho later my peeps.

Today is day 7 I just candled but I'm not sure they look like the last ones did and none of them hatched. The only one that looks different is the first one

Chicks making the move from bator to brooder! All black and one random yellow one!!

At least one of the chicks that hatched from 2 green eggs has cheek puffs! Have to see if I have another one.

Hmm... I'm a bit concerned for your eggs Ethen. Day 7?

Egg #1, looks good... but more like a day 14 or so. That's quite a lot of development for only day 7. Did you candle the eggs before you put them in? Are these shipped eggs?

The others look pretty clear. Of course, keep them in for a few more days to compare and see if there are any changes. Eggs # 3 & #4 look like your best bet (IMO)... but it's hard to tell from pictures.

My call ducks didn't hatch, opened up this morning- all dead. The 2 eggs I never could tell about were fully formed ducks- so I lost all 3. I won't try ducks again...

The first 2 are not shipped eggs but the rest are the first 2 were put in on the 27 and the others on the 28

LOL!!! My name went from gapeach, to ga, peachy (pug), gape, and now grape!! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

i also have an 8 year old son, many prayers for him and you!! ((((Hugs)))))

BTW I named my little TSC frizzle chick Peachy- she's still that 'peach' color too

I like peachy but the gapeach reminds me of the wonderful GA southern accent ppl use to have there
Today so sad I seldom hear many accents Everyone around the US is getting verbally homogenized from tv i guess Well off the chick subject for sure

That is so true- but I still have my southern accent, I couldn't change it if I wanted LOL
