I am worried that I'm not turning the eggs enough... I've been turning them 3+ times a day, but it seems like the chicks are all at one side of the shell... Am I just being paranoid?

I do three times a day? How far along are they. As they grow, they are on one side. Sometimes, you get frustrated at lock down, because you want the egg to sit a certain way up, but the chick is on the one side, and it keeps rolling over because of the weight. I am only particular of how the egg sits during lock down if I have an air sac going up pretty far on a side.

We have 4 pipped in the classroom!!! Had a minor freak out this afternoon when the temperature suddenly dropped 4 degrees!!! But finally have it back around the right temperature...not much has happened between me leaving school and this late night check...but hoping to have some new chicks to greet me in the am!!!

1 Egg Pipped At Wrong End for 20 hours. Considering Helping it

1 Egg Pipped at the right end for 20 hours with little progress, it is still alive though.

Many other eggs pipped today but none look to be zipping.

Lots of eggs have no progress.

It's late day 10, closer to day 11... And the embryo is on one side, with veins going throughout the rest of the egg. Is this normal?

Yes. Good that you can still see some veins. There is still a lot of time for the baby to absorb all of that.

Well, checked my "questionable" EE eggs today (day 11).... And nothing. Started out with 13, now down to 5 that are doing well. The rest looked like they never even started to grow after I cracked them open after confirming no growth via candling. Just runny yolk, and one with a little speck or two of what looked like blood maybe?? Oh, well. I will try a different shipper next time (mail order egg), not too pleased with 5 out of 13. Or is this decent for any shipped egs?
