I'm setting 6 bantam eggs from Meyer hatchery this Saturday. I saw somewhere that someone's bantam eggs hatched out on day 17-18? Anyone else had this?

My first 1 was just about out when i left for work... No others had pipped yet. I'm a little worried about them drying out too quickly. My fan is pretty strong and with 29 eggs i have opted for ventilation over super high humidity. I moved the eggs back from the air stream to help compensate but the first one looked like it was having a little trouble pushing free from the shell and the membrane looked a little sticky. This egg was in the first row closest to the flow of air from the fan. If i was home i could tweak things a little but wont get back home until 7:00pm or so. Hopefully everything will work out on its own!I have one pip too! This is the part that seems to take forever. Good luck!

Couldn't stand it, so I candled 6 of my white eggs. I saw movement in all 6. BIG RELIEF! Guess I'll resume my regular turning routine tomorrow and just pretend the power outage never happened.

Sounds like good progress! Keep us informed .I'm up to 4 pips. Two of them look like they're trying to start zipping!
