March hatch along

Hey, everybody. just dropping in lol. One of my emu eggs is hatching as I type, just was excited and wanted to share lol, I set an egg before this one and it hatched a week later. Here is a couple pics of him.

Ok, I may have lost my mind last evening, but I let my daughter talk me into these little buggers..... Hubby doesn't know yet.

PLEASE HELP!! I noticed one chick that had pipped had bubbles by its mouth so I took it out and try to look inside and some red tinted liquid started pouring out. The chuck is still breathing/gasping and it seems to be doing okay but I don't know how to proceed. I've assisted in hatching before but I've never experienced it with too much liquid in the egg. What should I do? Most of its hatchmates are out and doing fine. This one did however have a smaller aircell by day 18 than the most of the others. Should I pour the liquid out? Just separate it from the others? I don't want to lose it.... :0

I have never had one w/ to much liquid, mine usually are shrink wrapped. I would make sure the liquid isn't around the mouth, by either pouring it or absorbing it w/ a paper towel or something like that and see if it can complete the hatch on it's own. I would watch it for shrink wrapping since the egg is now open and could dry out. If I didn't see progress I would assist, but realistically if it has aspirated any of that fluid it is basically a done deal, it won't survive.
