March hatch along

I have a question. When I candled my Ameraucana eggs, one of them had the air cell in the wrong end. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, did the chick survive? We go into lockdown in just two days and I'm worried. My A. eggs belong to my son since he wanted to hatch some out while I put some BCmarans eggs in the incubator. The chick is developing but how will the hatch turn out?
I've had this happen twice. Once the egg never pipped, and the other time, the chick hatched fine on it's own, even though it did pip at the wrong end (non air cell end). I'd say just keep an eye on during the hatch. It might need some assistance zipping.

Hmmm....just did the math. It is actually day 17 so I will not be putting them into lockdown until tomorrow. Just candled the three probably nots and they all were duds. I probably will not candle the others that were developing well at day 10. That leaves me with 29. Still debating if I should hatch them in an egg carton or lay them over like I always have in the past.

I have a total of 14 chicks right now that have hatched with 10 more to go Pics!
