Hi I have a question before I sign up, the rules say everyone must be required to send at least 6 eggs. Is this if you are sending eggs, or are eggs sent with every package?
Sorry if it's a dumb question. I have only ever done the wygs.

You only send eggs if you sign up to send eggs. This is very similar to the WYGS chain as there are several categories besides eggs that you can send & receive from. If you are sending eggs the minimums are 6+ Chicken, 4+ Duck, 12+ Quail. Other breeds such as peafowl & geese have different quantities & are listed in post #1 with the rules.

This sounds fun! Can anyone describe what you have sent or received in previous swaps? I wouldnt wanna disappoint lol.

Examples of things from different categories:

Baked/Canned: loaves of homemade bread, cookies, homemade applebutter & jams, homemade salsa, home-canned fruits & veggies, etc.

Poultry Supplies: books about chickens, feeders, waterers, chicken treats, mealworm kits, poultry meds, thermometers, chick lamps/bulbs etc.

Eggs: quantities for each are listed in Post #1, combinations of breeds, ducks, quail, geese, turkeys, etc are always interesting

Gardening Supplies: Plant starts, seeds, gardening books, small gardening tools, fertilizer sticks, plant food, etc.

Household: salt & pepper shakers, dishtowels, picture frames, coasters, placemats, dish sets, candles, potpouri, (basically anything you can use in the kitchen or decorate the house with)

Art/Craft Supplies: fabric, ribbon, glitter, buttons, patterns, plastic canvas, paint, craft sets, stickers, appliques, cross stitch thread, cross stitch canvas, embroidery kits, etc.

Total value of items (before adding shipping costs) needs to be $15 from the chosen category & additional BONUS items from other categories can be added at sender's discretion.

I am extending the sign up date since we do not have enough people signed up yet. The date that sign ups close now is: 3-15-13 @ 12 noon. IF we don't get anymore to sign up this month by then I will be cancelling this months swap.
