Our 7month old Brahma marches when she walks. Only really started noticing this for the past few months. Checked for bumble foot, but her feet look ok and she doesn’t appear to be in any pain.

Welcome To BYC! :frow
Any swelling of the knee/hock joints?
How long are her toenails?
What type of food/treats do you feed?

I'm not sure what is causing the stilted walking, could be genetic, nutritional deficiency or something else. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

You can try giving vitamin B to see if that helps. 1/4 tablet human B-Complex for a couple of weeks.
Also feel her abdomen to see if there is any bloat/swelling.

She sure is pretty:)

I had one do this for a few months. Needed her nails cut. Took 2 times cutting them before she stopped. Can you see all her toes and nails under those feathers ?
:welcome

Welcome to BYC. X2 the recommendation of B complex vitamins which includes riboflavin (B2.) Do you know if she was vaccinated for Mareks disease? Some of my hens can have an odd gait, and there can be all sorts of reasons for that. My rooster who had leg mites did the little march thing with his legs before treatment. Hoepfully it is nothing serious.
