Mareks Chicken Sling!!! Pics Included!!

Hello, thank you for sharing. Is there any way you could find out the dosage of St. John’s wort and coconut oil? I am so desperate to save my hen that can no longer stand. My heart is breaking i believe she has Mareks.

I made sure the holes were big enough and he doesn't move around too much so no hanging up is possible I don't think, but if I see any need for concern I will certainly do something else. I am doing research and all my birds have been exposed already, so oh well. I'm pretty sure our biddies we got from the feed store were vax, but they said they didn't know. He is showing signs of progress and another user on here said she did a necropsy and all signs of Mareks was gone, so I'm hoping there will be no relapses, however, if he does, I will simply treat him again and again and again. I love my roo and if I can cure then I'll do whatever necessary. Culling is a last resort for me at all times. I usually choose the natural path unless uncurable and no hope.
Lol, my poor baby looks better than he has in days actually. Sometimes I think he likes all the cuddling, attention, and special food he gets.
Hi Kitty, I think its awesome that your trying to heal your Roo naturally. What kind of treatment did you give to Roo, like what kinds of foods, fluids or vitamins that really helped Roo. Thanks Kitty really appreciate it.

I have this sinking feeling that my flock has Mareks. How do I know for sure? I have one pullet that has stayed rather small and has scabby lesions under her wings. I have another that cannot walk, legs appear paralyzed. I have one pullet that is blind...but seems to have been blind since hatching. Is there any proof positive way to know whether they have Mareks? I am just sick considering the outcome.
THere's a PCR test that you can do. I have them on hand so that I can test and send in. They respond within 48 hours. www.vetdna.com
