One of my chickens has suddenly become paralysed in her legs, it looks exacly like Marek's disease, but she's an ex battery, so she should have been vaccinated against it no? Any Idea on what it could be? I'm thinking of culling her, but I want to make sure she cannot be cured before I do so, please help!!

Marks is less likely....

Has she ever been wormed? Heavy parasite loads can weaken them to where that start limping, lose leg control, lose weight etc... Also a back injury can affect their legs.
For worms use Safeguard goat liquid.... 1/2cc down throat. In horse paste use a pea size dollop in the mouth. With liquid you can add three ccs to a gallon of drinking water for five days. For paste give for three days. Repeat either in 14 days. Give supportive care, vitamins etc.

For injury, seperate in a calm darkened place. Give vitamins and vitamin E gel caps squeezed in beak twice daily for about a week. Supportive care....etc

Thankyou for the information!
I don't think so, but none of the others seem to have the same problem.
I will go into town and get some of the stuff reccomended now!
Thankyou so much!!
