Mareks? Help? *Video added*

I'm sorry but with another girl down with those symptoms I could almost bet that it's Marek's. The crazy thing about Marek's is it loves to mimic other diseases...such as sour or impacted crop. I've had several start out that way and then, they would move on into the more common Marek's symptoms. My advice to you would be to have one of the girls euthanized and necropsied. You really need to know what you are dealing with and a necropsy is the only way to know for sure.

I'm so sorry...

Leadwolf, I think your advice is right on.
Daisy, you've said a couple of things that have me thinking Marek's. The first hen's death could be that she wasted away. They look like they're eating but they're not. She died 5 weeks after that chicken farm got rid of all the chickens. I would say if the conditions are right, such as a farm having many chickens with Marek's, that would release a very potent amount of dust, esp if they are sick at the time.

2-3 weeks later another hen is showing paralysis. But otherwise chirps. They can look like nothing's wrong right up to the end. I had a 2 year old roo that crowed and was paralized right up to his neck,, and was skin and bones.

Feel the crop at night. Anything in there? Feel her breast bone. Bend down and see if she's eating or just pretending with her crumbles.

I have one now that had paralysis, got better, starting eating well, and now, a few weeks later, is wasting. But looking real happy.

I would also think that it's possible, but unlikely that a 4 year old get Marek's. And it's more likely that an older bird would waste, and not get paralysis. I can't say it's not possible because my first victim was a 2 year old roo who got paralysis, wasting, a grey eye, wing walking, and lost control of his neck..
Like leadwolf said, Marek's has no rules. No cure, No test. It can have classic symptoms or none at all.

I hope your chickens don't have it, but it does sound like it.

I am certain she's eating. She pecks at food but you can tell she swallows it. You can feel her breast bone buts its getting less and less obvious as the days go on, so she must be eating:D
This first picture, it isn't very good and its quite dark but this the half standing up thing she does. And then she shuffles/crawls to food, water, bed etc.

This is her new pen area I have put her in because she now shuffles round I didn't want her in the dirt and grit so I have moved her onto the grass where she can shuffle around. I have still been feeding her baby food and she is eating but she only ever gets through one small dish of it but then she will eat pellets so I'm guessing she gets sick of it or doesn't really like it. I bathed her earlier as she had a bit of a dirty bottom but now she can move around more and kind of perch herself she tends not to get so much poo on her! She is completely separate from the other chickens but can still see them and I didn't want her by herself. She has been with the others for the last 2-3 weeks when she has been like this and none of them have come down with any symptoms so I was still going to put her in with them at night. My Mum and Dad say that she is a lot more cherpier and happier now than a couple of weeks ago and they think she's going to pull through. I'm not getting my hopes at all but I think she is a lot happier now. That top picture makes her look quite sad but she wasn't and she talks to you from across the garden when you go outside so I am pretty sure she's happy! As I am now on School Holidays I have a lot more time to use on her.
Thanks Daisy

Leadwolf1,
I smelt her beak and it didn't smell of anything really. So I guess she's fine?
And in the morning I checked her crop and it was empty! I am pretty sure it is not either of them, Thank you

Daisy have you tried the calcium supplements? It could have the same problem as the hen I posted the link about. It's worth a try.

Calcium supplements? Like yoghurt and egg. Well I have given her some scrambled eggs and baby food has lots of calcium in it. I'm hoping it something like calcium deficiency and nothing like mareks but she stopped walking all of a sudden. Wouldn't a calcium problem come on when they are younger? gradually?

When I gave her a bath earlier, when I got her out I realised her bottom was quite red, like underneath her vent and that sort of area. I think it may have been because I was cleaning her and pulling, not really hard but I was washing those feathers. I don't think it is anything serious and her poo was quite runny but over the last few days has come a lot more solid like

Sounds like her crop is in good working order :)

Calcium supplements...crushed eggshell, oyster shell...or, you can buy calcium supplement tablets in the vitmain aisle at the store. The cheapest way to go is just to feed eggshell.

I shall go give her some now and then mix some with her food, If it was a calcium deficiency wouldn't it come on gradually? or when she was younger?
