Marek's Vaccination Question

I just received my chicks this morning- I got them vaccinated for Marek's at the hatchery. Now I'm thinking I might want to get a few more chicks from a local farm.... so my question is this: if I add new chicks (same age) to my existing group, do the new ones have to be vaccinated too? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I got mine from a hatchery as well and they were vaccinated for Mareks, then I added some that did not have it and all was fine. BUT that was only my experience. I am not sure what everyone usually does.

Mareks vaccinated birds do not give mareks to un vaccinated birds

but there is always a small chance there is one chick that is not accepting the vaccine into its ssystem and can be sheding mareks dander to the other chicks

but I would continue to get mareks vaccinated chicks as the small chance of one chick not taking the vaccine is very small
