Layers require 4 times as much calcium,
My understanding always was,,,,

, that value to be 4% calcium.
I believe it can be used for ducks as well, but I don't know much about ducks, but do know they require niacin or they have leg issues.
I use Alflock since I have layers, and non-layers. No ducks BTW

and no roosters ether. Certainly I offer oyster shell free-choice.
It contains 1.9% CALCIUM. I usually just round that to 2% when I write in my post respoding. That is amount of calcium needed by chickens for daily living. If they are laying,,,,,, then they need the 4% calcium in their diet. Their calcium needs are also supplemented when they eat greens while they free-range, or are fed kitchen veggies rich in calcium.
This feed is formulated such ,,,,,,that you feed one feed to your whole flock,,,, with mixed types of birds. Went out to grab the tag from bag, and did my best to take a pix of it. My Alflock has NIACIN.
