Siiiigh, it looks so nice there.

It's snowy here at the moment. I think Crash is the only one happy about it. She likes to 'bathe' in the snow.

50 today, 38 and snow tomorrow.

Idk why, but i never had one. I guess on account of not really being a "farm gal" I've just been using regular garden rakes and hoes and such.
I have one of those plastic hay thingies and that works fine for moving dry stuff.
But removing wet poop patties is so much easier with a real pitchfork!

Well dang, we've had an old pitchfork propped against the side of the house for years that I've never even thought about using in my coops!

Yuck! I think we're sitting at 33-ish right now, just above freezing but not warm enough for the snow to melt all the way. Supposed to get more overnight anyway, though, so I guess it's really here to stay. I was enjoying the super mild winter we'd been having for most of January.

I have one of these and the tines are too flexible to work well on anything that's matted down, but it is nice for throwing lots of bedding out of the coop in bulk.

Yeah! I got something like that. It stinks for moving anything wet. So what I would do is loosen stuff with a garden rake thingie then scoop it out. So stupid!!
