Ok thanks everyone. This is my first call hatch with my girls eggs so I wanted to see what everyone does. I had a few rounds of shipped eggs that were a no go last Spring. I did the cooling/misting as some threads advise. Good to know you don't have to and get a successful hatch! I have 2 butterscotch and one black magpie developing still. Had one butterscotch quit so far. By the way, the boys eyes are healing up nicely and everyone is back to walking normally!I don't mist or cool daily. I do candle typically about once a week so i suppose they get a little bit of a cool down then.
11 are in the brooder & 2 are still in the hatcher.And........?
