JJ just started the coffee here. Wish he had gotten his butt outta bed an hour ago while I was getting kids ready for school & gotten it going. I'm ready to crawl back in the covers but have too much on the To Do list today.

Morning campers! Whats on the to do list today? besides chicken feeding and brooder cleaning ha ha ha!! I am still on the website making and plan on it for hours and hours if not weeks!

Morning campers!  Whats on the to do list today?  besides chicken feeding and brooder cleaning ha ha ha!!   I am still on the website making and plan on it for hours and hours if not weeks! 

After chicken chores I'm catching 3 silkie roos and an orphington hen to take to the auction. Then I'm going to attempt to get my kitchen back in order. Then I'll go to the auction and hopefully get a good price for my birds. Maybe I'll find either some babies or a rabbit or 2.

Good Morning my friends!!!

It is cold cold cold here in central VA this morning. Had to pour hot water over fence latches just to get them open to feed the chickens and goats cuz they were frozen from frost and ice. YUCK. Since there's no electricity out to the animal shelters, I also had to break ice in waterers and buckets, they pour hot water in those as well just so all my fuzzies could have a drink.

I cannot wait until SPRING!!


MCF, I hope one of those packages was from me...can you confirm, please? Been worried sick about it since it's my first time sending eggs, and I wanna make sure you got them and that they are all intact.

My husband usually goes, but since he took this over the road gig I am doing it for the first time. I just hope I don't get bidding fever.....
