So the eggs are packed up within an inch of their lives. There us enough bubble wrap and newspaper and duct tape (don't judge me) to get these things through a war zone. Should go to post office either today or first thing in the morning.

Lol if you cant duct it ....... it right. My rear is in slow gear thanks to yet another cold snap. Bloody 63 yesterday to this crap again today. On slightly better news the mallard hen laid me an egg yesterday. So did a banty but that's positively not fertile.

My last batch of eggs got wrapped with duct tape. The box got sealed with gorilla tape...lmao

My kids got the day off too. School district made the decision before the snow even started.We are up to 8 inches at this point, still snowing. Excited you are going to lockdown MCF! Cant wait to see chick pics!

Cancelled already for tomorrow here. Not telling my boys. They had a three day weekend because of the holiday, then no school today because of the POSSIBLE snow (that didn't come until AFTER they would have gotten home

), so I'm about to lock myself in a closet and swallow the key. If I tell them there's no school tomorrow, they'll be up till midnight talking to each other in their bunkbeds...or fighting...or laughing...or sneaking nintendo ds' under the covers. At least if I wait until tomorrow to tell them there's no school, I'll get some peace and quiet tonight and I won't have to yell every five minutes.

Here too. It was funny though...the recording actually said they'd probably be off tomorrow but for now they are calling it a 2 hr. delay, and they'll call tomorrow at 7a.m.
