They did that here this morning. First I got a call just after 5am saying 2 hr delay. At 6:30 they called again to cancel.

They already called a 2 hr delay for tomorrow.

Cancelled already for tomorrow here. Not telling my boys. They had a three day weekend because of the holiday, then no school today because of the POSSIBLE snow (that didn't come until AFTER they would have gotten home  ), so I'm about to lock myself in a closet and swallow the key. If I tell them there's no school tomorrow, they'll be up till midnight talking to each other in their bunkbeds...or fighting...or laughing...or sneaking nintendo ds' under the covers. At least if I wait until tomorrow to tell them there's no school, I'll get some peace and quiet tonight and I won't have to yell every five minutes.

How do I survive summer break????

Mine get threatened with "Go to bed. If I hafta come in there your butt's not gonna like it." They know making mom mad when she is tired is hazardous to the hiney so I don't usually have too much trouble getting them to bed.

Our kids was out of school for 26 days straight. 2 weeks being holiday vacation. The others was snow days and Fridays that wasn't worth going to school for one day that week......... They went back to school for 1 week, and went Monday. Was off Tuesday and Wednesday and probably Thursday. If they don't go Thursday this school district is stupid and will cancel Friday because they think that going the last day of the week is not worth the trouble.... and we only have a dusting of snow.

Really? We can be in a blizzard warning and the schools still won't close.

So far this year the school closed once and that was when the governor mandated it because of the extreme cold across the state.

Shoot, I'm surprised they didn't close school here today! Usually anything below 20 or the slightest chance of snow or ice and this place shuts down like a zombie apocalypse.

OMGoodness..It is cold! It's 0* out and I don't even want to know what the whipping windchill temps are. I've been out twice to give everyone drinks of water, and my house is soo..cold. Sally, stay by the heater, and I pray your RA isn't giving you a fit

So had a humidity issue last night... the fogger had major buildup of calcium and lime. Got it dissolved out and humidity back up to 65%
