Thanks for the update. Those eggs were just from the next state
MCF, are you going to have room for turkey poults & ducklings soon? I'm setting Anconas this week to check fertility & expect the turkeys to be laying within a month. I'd like to send you eggs from them but want to make sure you are set up for them first.
Plenty of room in the brooders. My mallard hen is laying now still batting zero on fertility tho. The two bantam hens and either the silkie or the game hen is laying one here and there. No roos in there at all so they all go to the frying pan
Ok, I'll warn you before they head out. May have a few polish to go with them by then too. Mixed colors but all polish.

The "Poof Heads" belong to my 7 year old. He has a quad. Gold laced roo over gold laced, white crested black & splash pullets. The roo may be carrying blue. He seems to have some blue patches in his lacing & blue butt fluff. They just started laying this week so I pulled them from the main pen to set them up for breeding. It will take a couple weeks to make sure they are pure since they were in my layer pen with an EE, an OE & a cream legbar covering them along with the young polish roo. Any that hatch right now are likely to be crested EE.
