Usually, but there are exceptions, the males are more friendly. It will be hugh. My hen and roo are extraordinarilly broad across the back. Got my first egg at 28 weeks old. I had about given up. SOOO patience is in order for her.

I had a late blooming orp boy and I checked back my pics. But by about 16 weeks he was clearly a boy with shiny hackle and saddle feathers but he took ages to fully grow into his looks.

I don't see the shinyness or the pointyness, I still think pullet.

kinda looks orp but hard to say. depending on how big it gets could be Black orp, Black Jersey Giant, or Black Astrolourp. but im ganna go with Black Orp Pullet
