Mark all posts as unread

There are some parts of the forums I rarely read, but when I do get to them, often only the first couple of posts are marked as unread. Could you add a button that made all posts on the current page unread?

It's an interesting idea, but probably not something we'd implement.

Is there a reason only the first few are marked as unread when I haven't read any of them?

Actually they are marked for new posts. Those that aren't marked were already posted the last time you were on line, so they are not marked whether or not you read them.

is there a reason they become unmarked just because i went offline? they are still unread.

The first thing that I do is hit the "recent posts" button in the blue strip.

Then the Index to get to the Guinea Fowl section.

Then the show your posts and show posts you subscribed to.

It gives me a darn good idea of what is going on very quickly.

I spend most of my time in the duck section of the forums, followed by random, family, where are you. I like to pop into the meat section once a week and the predator and coop sections maybe once a month. It's nice when I'm working my way through a page of unread threads to have the ones unread bolded, and ones read regular so I can keep my place on the page.

I know how to navigate the forums. I'm wondering why things become unmarked between sessions. I'm just saying that I would find it easier if it wasn't session based.
