thats how i felt this morning with the rain. i think that there needs to be a policy in place for rain, heather drove 2 hrs to a swap that wasnt and then dragged me down and we did well, i am not complaining here, i am just stating that as you come to a problem like that it is a good time to make the changes necessary so everone is on the same page.

this isnt drama, just saying is all, please dont take it as anything other than what it is.

Where did you get your Chanteclers from? I tried to get some Partridge chicks this spring at a couple different hatcheries and they all sold out really quickly!

I have some Partridge & Buff hens, and want to breed the Partridge variety (I'd love to get some White Chanteclers, but they're pretty scarce outside of Canada, it seems.)

do we know if Shay is set with chickens, or set up to take them? i had a couple i was going to bring for her to look at but i know she's been busy getting stuff set up at the new place.

Her husband did build her a small coop with an enclosed yard yesterday so she's back in the chicken market​

Hi Lily,

I got my stock from Ideal Poultry. I have 5 four week old Partridge Chantecler chicks available.

Yes, they Do sell fast. Besides being rare, they are nice tempered chickens too.
