Martha Stewart dog toys

PetsSmart is selling them, and a whole line of her stuff. Personally, I like Martha, don't follow her, but her recipes and ideas for holidays are really good . . .and these toys are made for the fluff fluff dogs. Not big meat lovin' give me a goodyear tire to play with guys and gals. I think she has dog food too, if I remember right.

The toys are cute, but I couldn't imagine them lasting. In my house anyway.

Never, ever would that last for more than a minute with my dog. I rarely buy any toys for her because they have to be really heavy duty to avoid being ripped to shreds right away.
Now if I were to think of our cats (who do randomly chew on some of our dog's things), this might work.

Those crocheted thingies wouldn't even survive my cats, much less my dogs. Lily can take apart a stuffie in about 30 seconds. Then she steals Lucy's and takes it apart too. The only thing that she hasn't killed is a squeaky made out of fire hose. That one is still intact.

I have two Heinz-57 mostly-Labs, brother and sister, both around 100 pounds. Those things would actually be all right with Maggie, as she's quite delicate with her toys and usually just carries them around. Gus, on the other hand, would have them decapitated and gutted within a couple of minutes, and that would be if he was taking his time to enjoy the process.

We do have a stuffed Mr. Bill that screams, "Ooooh NOOOOOO!" when its body is squeezed. It's one of the few things that Gus hasn't destroyed. We think the goofy dog likes the sound of it, as he'll carry it all over the house chomping on its middle again and again and again and again...

I don't know much about MS or her toys but I was contracted to do some work for a woman that emulated MS had all her gadgets, hair was cut and dyed the same and idolized her something fierce. I made a comment about MS about the time MS was in trouble. That was the last I heard from the woman and she cancelled the contract with no explanation. Some people do actually buy her stuff because of MS name is on it. Weird.
