What a cute little coop. If you had to put it together you can take a pattern off the coop part and make a identical one for the other side there if you need the extra room.

that is what I would do. You can't have too much run space (except when you're trying to catch one lol)

I'm sure there are a ton of these posts but I wanted to give this a shot. I'm currently in the process of moving to Frederick county and OF COURSE the house my wife picks is in a R3 LOW DENSITY zone. I have 2.43 acres but it looks like I'm not allowed to have chickens. Has anyone had any luck getting exceptions? I saw the main post about zonings but didnt know if anyone has tried it.

I am in Frederick County, MD and I am not aware of any prohibition on chickens (not to say it does not exist, I just do not know about any).

I say just give it a try. Once your neighbors start getting eggs I doubt they will complain. Keep the roosters to a minimum though.
