Anyone in Carroll county have hatching eggs available? At this point I am looking for just about anything to test out the incubator setup. Thanks in advance.

You still keep Cochins? Looking for a broody. Shoot me a PM if you do.Maybe If I could get them to stand still for once![]()

Should you find yourself with too many Cochin pullets, I'm looking for a couple broody prospects; color not a factor.Hello @Maeschak ,
I own 20 chickens so far, (with some quail hatching out on the 17th of december) of multiple breeds. I have a buff orpington roo, australorps, a rhode island red, a golden laced polish, a golden laced wyandotte, cochins, buckeyes, ameracauncas, an ancona, a speckled sussex, a cuckoo maran, a little silkie/cream legbar cockerel, and a black jersey giant![]()
A word of caution:Hi All, I just moved to Baltimore County in August and we're going to start a small backyard flock (probably 4 birds), in March. A few questions:
1. Does anyone know of a good feed store in the area?
2. Does anyone know where I can get chicks (most likely looking for Rhode Island Reds), or is best to mail order?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
