Ah okay, I wonder how that one got in there, they're supposed to be all BBS and white. But I LOVE Chipmunk, the most awesome coloring pattern I have ever seen on a silkie. God I hope it turns out to be tiny, I want to keep it SO bad. Did you see the White one with the spots on it's head? It has black and white stripes down it's back, very neat.

Those are not splash, they are partridge, the one with the white stripes will be your female. The two toned will be your males. It looke like you have one blue in the group. Where did you get the eggs, are they from your flock or did you buy them? Because there is a HUGE difference between Blue & Partridge.

Splash chicks at hatch are a grey/blue color simular to Lavender. They don't get thier "splashes" until about 3 months old.

Huh, I didn't know that, I just looked the listing and partridge was part of it. I bought them offline. Definitely keeping the one with the stripes then. Is there anyway to sex the black ones?? Cause I'd like to keep one, but I have no idea which are male or female. I'll have to keep the blue, cause it's toe is really messed up. At first I thought it was because he had just hatched. But it's bent and it won't straighten. He/she is really tiny to, I'm surprised it was able to hatch on it's own. It had some problems getting out of the shell once he/she got the top off, but aside from that he/she had to problems. Not sure if it's a birth defect or something that happened during incubation.

It usually happens when the humidity isn't right. You can fix it at hatch by taping the toe flat, before the chick dries off.
