Hello...I'm in Cecil County--just minutes from Elkton! :0) I helped behind the food counter at the Susquehanna show and also cooked food at the stove. I was at the Harrington show as well, pushing my son around in a stroller.

Wife to a VERY understanding husband mama to 4 little people, 5 dogs, a pot bellied pig, 2 babydoll sheep, 2 lionhead rabbits, 1 goose, a pair of pheasants, umpteen silkies, 7 polish chickens, over 100 baby chicks, RIR's, Leghorns, several pairs of old english game, a pair of buff orpingtons, call ducks, mandarin ducks, pekins, and magpies...oh, and about 100 eggs in the incubator!


I think you need to add TURKEYS and guineas

Hi! I've been on BYC (well the other BYC forum really) for 5+ years, and its nice to see more people from MD. I live in Anne Arundel County and keep a good assortment of birds around!
Right now I've got SQ Black Standard Ameraucanas, SQ bantam and standard polish in LF and bantam, Chinese geese, muscovy ducks (chocolate, barred), blue swedish ducks, Blue Slate Turkeys, mandarin ducks, fulvous tree ducks, black shouldered peafowl and emus.

I'm currently looking for a black slate turkey hen to pair with one of my males (my original pairs were a self blue/blue and a self blue/self blue). Also want some more guineas at some point.

If you hatch out a bunch of mandarins this year let me know. I have 2 broody females on eggs right now and I hope to get a good number of ducklings this year. Perhaps we could trade to get some unrelated blood flowing (I got mine shipped to me from WA)?
