Mass production hens

There is a farm in Carthage NY that is clearing their laying hens out.
I picked up two hens but that's all I could house. They are very shy but are coming around.

I understand farming but I don't like the battery cage system and am happy to add two new girls to our flock.

Are you coming to the NY Chickenstock on May 17th in Rome? If you are and you wanted to pick up two of these girls for me beforehand I'd be happy to take them. I just can't drive and get them myself because Carthage is 4 hours from where I live.

I would also be happy to take a few of these hens, but live 4 hours away. If anyone will be traveling to pick up some of them, I could possibly meet you somewhere. I'm in Salt Point, NY (near Poughkeepsie).
