i read on sandhill hatchery website that a barred rock roo and a newhampshire hen makes deleware pullets.i was wondering if i used a dominique roo would it be similar where they look alike.

Here is the quote from Sandhill about the development of Delawares. "These were developed in 1940 from off-colored sports between Barred Rock male and New Hampshire female" So therefore Delawares are not a F1 cross and were developed from occasional off colored ones. These were developed over a number of generations so if you were expecting Delaware looking birds from a F1 cross your answer is no.
