How old does a tom have to be before he is able to mate with fertilize eggs as the result. I have a br and he is about 6 mos old is he old enough to get the job done

Usually 8-12 months for consistent fertilization... At least in my experience

Aw I was hoping he could do it this time the girls are sitting for him. my girls have been sitting on unfertile eggs

Some may be fertile. After a week take the eggs in a dark room and candle them and see if they are fertile
