Mating

i Have two runner ducks hatched this April. They’re both female. They’re living with 3 geese 2 female and one unknown gender. Should I be worried about the geese mounting them?

My gander mated the Muscovy until I found him a goose mate.
What breed are your ducks? My Muscovy offered themselves to my gander and none were injured.

If swimming water is available, they may inadvertently get drowned.

Honestly my gander was more of a gentleman with my Muscovy than the Muscovy drake. But he also never tried to breed my Runners and one would get in the pool with him and ask but he ignored her thank goodness. I'd be worried if both my goose and gander had over whelmed her in the pool but it never happened. These are just things your going to have to look out for. My goose and gander were so bonded that they never tried to mate with any of the ducks once my gander got his very own mate. They were together 10yrs before I lost my gander at 14 yrs old.
