mature pekin duck suddenly cannot walk

I will upload a photo but my female Duck seems to be showing the same symptoms as thid duck. I know it's from 2013 but my pekin can no longer walk, took her to the vet they gave her anabiotic shot and steroids they claim it's arthritis she's only 5. I've done everything possible for her any good advice ??five

did they check to see if she is eggbound?

a blood test for metal toxicity?

No. Only reason is because they told me if the shot didn't work put her down. She can walk at all. Just uses her beak to pull herself up. She can sit up. Just cannot move her legs. She's eating etc. it's terrible.
