1) I just got my first chicks shipped over from Asagi Hatchery on Oahu

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 8 baby chicks

(3) What breeds do you have?
Two Black Australorp, Two Ameraucana, Two Barred Plymouth Rock, One Silver laced polish and one white crested polish

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Not sure yet, my goal is egg layers with enough eggs to give away/sell

I built an 8x8 chicken coop with plenty of head room. Hope its enough room for them and the possibility of adding more.

Im here to learn how to protect my flock and get the most out of them. Possibly submit my polish chickens for the Maui fair.
