Mauve Orpington breeding

I’m in Minnesota
They have a 50/50 chance of laying pink eggs too. Would be pretty exciting. She breeds them to maintain the pink coloring in the egg.

In the same line... Would a Mauve hen crossed with chocolate or blue result in any more mauve chicks?

Chocolate male x Mauve female = 50% Chocolate offspring, 50% Mauve offspring.

Blue male x Mauve female = 50% Blue offspring, 25% Black offspring, 25% Splash offspring. All male offspring carry chocolate but do not express it.

If you want more Mauves, and Chocolate or Blue are your only options for males, go with the Chocolate.

Love this form and all the good advice.
