Throw a bucket of water at the fence, wherever the water gets through is where a goat can get through.@mlm Mike I've got a 40'x40' (approx.) chicken run fenced in with t-posts and chain link fence. Would that be sufficient to contain a couple goats?
So a solid cement building with no windows would be best? What did you use for posts?Throw a bucket of water at the fence, wherever the water gets through is where a goat can get through.![]()
It could be, it depends on the goats. I currently use 48" no climb horse fence around the 1/3 acre mini pasture, 3 sides anyways, the side going to the large pasture is the cow fence that was already in place. I've had to "patch" that in several places, slopped land, they would crawl under. Keep in mind also, I have Nigerian Dwarf goats, so they are small. Mine are pretty spoiled with good hay, so they don't have a strong desire to go forage.
Quote: When I first got them I used some 48" goats fence a neighbor had laying around and t-posts. With the horse fence, wooden posts were driven into the ground.
