MAY 2016 "Land of the Free Because of the brave!" Hatch-a-Long Hosted by, Mike & Sally

So busy with fixing up my house to sell that I would've forgotten about lock-down without a reminder on my Google calendar. Got 8 eggs on lock-down now, hoping for 6 ameraucana and 2 blrw. Good thing I have awesome family; my aunt will care for my chickens until I get another job and a house. My sister will watch my ducklings for me (cuties are just starting to quack).

My day 14 candle i have 3 croads left living!
1000

Wonky saddle air cells but lively chicks in all except the one marked with an X.

If I am not doing the egg shuffle then I am usually doing the bird shuffle!

It's kinda like the hokey pokey.

Put your Am's in, take your AM's out.
Put your leghorns in, take your leghorns out.
Put your babies in, take your grow outs out, set more eggs and turn yourself about.

And so it goes.

I am at the point of looking forward to the end of hatching season. A minute is usually how long the end of hatching season lasts.

Good luck with your hatch. I think they will hatch for you!

What are you doing with all those unfilled spaces in your incubator? Is that legal? Those spots need something in them or you may have to be reported to crazy chicken ladies anonymous.
