April 5th. I bit the bullet and finally ordered hatching eggs after going back and forth on the risks vs reward for years. Did my research and chose Meyer as everyone had great things to say. You? No extras in my bunch.

This is a pic of the last batch, I have had 2 through here, since I got it, one was shipped eggs 8/10, and one with a neighbors eggs 16/19, They are heating up in my home made one for now because I have 3 eggs currently in it, they are frizzles of my avatar.

Update on the little crushed egg chick - it's starting to show a few signs of improvement this evening, but it's been a long day with little progress! The chick is finally starting to be able to hold its head a little and has started cracking its eyes open a bit. Not out of the woods yet, but I'll take any progress at this point. Hopefully I'll have another good update for you all in the morning <3

The other chicks in the brooder are doing really well

I didn't get extras, in Meyer's. I have ordered eggs from them and Ebay which is fun but risky. Meyer's you can get a good selection, and shipment, but sometimes if you want a special kind of chicken you cannot find on Meyer. You can go ebay.

try giving sips of yolk water.

That is a really good success rate! I was impressed with their packaging and all eggs seemed to have no internal problems (intact air sac, yolk discernable...). Many do have size to them too. Here they are all ready to go.

I thought so too!!! And yes! The packaging was great!!!

Yours are soooo pretty!!!! And wow!!!! You really got some massive ones!!! Hahaha fun!!
