May 2020 Hatch-A-Long

Pics
I candled last night only 4 had development in them :hit I know they say don't count your chickens before they hatch but I really was hoping for a couple more especially considering its only day 7 so I might have nothing by the time they are due to hatch
I had trouble seeing a few at day seven. Any chance you missed a couple? Are they still in the cooker? :fl

Yes I actually did leave them in!! I hope maybe they could develop, that would be awesome. I was using my cell phone so it was a little hard to tell but they did look clear. I figured a couple more days wouldn't hurt and maybe try candleing again tomorrow. I marked all the ones that looked clear ng so I will just take those out tomorrow and check. I know 2 had some pretty bad looking air cells but even if a couple more develop i would be happy. I have 7 pullets coming in the week of the 4th. I almost canceled them because I was like this is going to be too many chickens. I am so thankful I didn't now even though you give me some hope thank you vantic!!

Well, 3 of the 4 peafowl eggs are fertilized! One of the eggs has a completely detached air cell and it moves around the egg like a giant bubble so I'm not going to get my hopes up on that one but it's developing none the less! They're on day 13 and dancing around in their eggs tonight!

Hey everybody.
I'd like to get in on the hatch along. I just set my eggs about an hour ago. EE mixes and some barnyard Cross. Nice pretty eggs, guess I'll see what I get.
I'm using a farm innovation 4250 circulated air with turner. I've hatched hundreds in a homemade Bator in the past but this is my trial run with a commercial produced incubator.
Also the first chickens I've had for a few years so I'm quite anxious to get back to it.
Anyway I'm looking forward to reading everyone's progress while I'm in the slow first days. I'll candle mine next weekend.
