May 2020 Hatch-A-Long

That’s two cheap for me for two sexed pullets 😂 I was thinking $7

I base prices on breed and bloodline but nothing wrong with selling them for more! Most of my chicks sell for $5, $8, or $10 for fancier breeds. Around here backyard mutts or hatchery chicks usually go for $2-$3. It definitely varies by location as well!

I can sell hatchery chicks for a lot around here depending on the breed.

What do the emu eat when they’re young?

Mazuri Ratite feed. They like to help themselves to the chicken feed in the evenings as well.

Great pictures of the little feathered family!

Definitely try a multivitamin with b2 in it for the turkeys. I've never seen this with turkeys but I know with chickens the curled toes can be due to a vitamin deficiency in the breeding flock, specifically riboflavin.

The chick boost helped quite a bit, but I’ll try more vitamins again. I didn’t do the tape on the feet quite yet due to it not being able to stand. But so far it has a little more balance.
