My barnyards are $3 usually. I am going to try them at $5 for the marans if too many people want them then I will bump the price next eggs I set.

Where I'm at, I am seeing people asking (no idea if they are actually selling) $10+ for marans chicks and $5-8 for mixes and crosses (straight run) now... It's a little crazy. But maybe since all the farm stores are done with chick days, there's more demand (even though we have a hatchery 45 minutes away ).

For the love of all that is good... They do take a long time. I have been waiting HOURS! They externally pipped yesterday. I just want them out. I had to send my husband to Walmart to get me a bin for them since the quail are inside.

Very good point! I increase price as they age because it's more work to raise them and costs money to care for them! All of the prices I mentioned are for newly hatched chicks. I usually home them after a day or two of rest.

Just realized there’s barely any room for this chick to stand up, I forgot to remove the second tray meant for the egg turner :/ would it be bad if I took out all the eggs and removed one of the trays? Or is that too risky

I would do it. Just have a plan exactly what you'll do before you start, then work carefully and methodically--follow your plan, put the lid on carefully (mine can seem on when it's actually a bit off the lip), and then make sure your humidity pops back up.
