My NC eggs are going to be delivered later in week, they had bad weather- wahh! My ID eggs will prolly be shipped tomorrow. I will get them on Thurs. or Fri.

Joining up! I set 19 Swedish Flower Eggs and 11 Brahma/bantam leghorn crosses on Monday. The crosses are for my sister in law who has no incubator; the moms are bantam exchequer leghorns and the dad is I think dark Brahma, so I am curious what they will look like.

I am expecting Buff Orpington eggs in the mail today so I’ll add those hopefully later today.

My BO eggs arrived, air cells are a little wobbly but not bad. Most of the eggs were very dirty so I decided to wash them. I don’t really want to be hand turning dirty eggs for the next 3 weeks! A lot of the eggs are porous too, so hopefully it doesn’t affect the hatch much.

At six, Duckling can’t remember having blue and green eggs, so I was going to just buy chicks in a few weeks. The girls will be broody again by mid-June though, so yesterday I just gave them eggs. The four eggs I was planning as I walked down to the coop somehow became six as I gave them to the girls. I expect all to hatch, so I’m trying to keep chicken math under control.

I added one Cap full of water and My humidity is now around 40 percent

I have some mixed chicken eggs in the incubator with hatch date of the first of May plus another batch going in tomorrow, then a batch each week. I also just ordered half a dozen khaki Campbell duck eggs which should hopefully be shipped and arrive next week
