So glad to hear!!! I think I've had my best hatch from my quail off this set off breeders.Out of about 1400 eggs set only 84 didn't hatch.Can you imagine 1300 popcorn chickens?

(my daughter calls them that) .Mine seem to grow at an incredible rate.And many start laying early.

Of the 25 you sent me so far 21 have hatched and doing great! Two others are pipped and moving. That is an awesome hatch rate for any eggs but definitely for shipped eggs! I am ecstatic!

Well I candled tonight....

My Marans eggs from cmfarm were all clears.

My Orpington eggs from Pheatherz had 1 clear and 1 iffy, but the other 11 look great! Thanks!

Woo hoo! Got my first May Egg Swap baby... 2 days early! Guess I was running a little on the warm side this hatch - I did have a couple of instances where my temps drifted up and I wasn't sure how long it had been.

I'm not home but my boyfriend texted me a picture. Not sure if this is one of the Wyandottes that I got from my swap buddy or from one of the eggs I popped in there from my flock - I'll have to get a better look when I get home. He says it's black and white and looks like a penguin

LOL! So I'm thinking maybe it's from my BR?

Shipping took a toll on my swap eggs but I sent 3/8 into lockdown plus the 2 from my flock that I threw in there. Hopefully all will hatch!

I have one hatched too...

tataharris sent me Dominique and the extras were ee/Dominique and the EE just hatched 2 days early.

I had a speck sussex from someone else hatch today also 1 day early.

so awsome they are just starting to hatch.

The one that hatched is a little sexlink from my BR... It's very unique looking, odd white pattern on it's face!

I've got a Wyandotte zipping as we speak and my other BR is rockin in the carton

Well, i have 3/5 now! One from my BR egg and 2 from my egg swap Wyandottes! Both blue - not sure what they'll be when they're big but they're very cute

Waiting on my other BR egg and the last Wyandotte. They're due today, let's hope they're here when I get home from work!

So far 8 chicks supposed to black sex links

and 1 little MilleFluer Project bantam cochins Still have one more drying and one unzipping. Best swap yet for hatch rates!
