I'm in too! My first hatching ever and in my homemade bator! I 've set 6 eggs; 2 from my EE, 2 from my LB, 1 from my BA, and 1 from my RIR all crossed with my PR rooster. DUE MAY 10TH!!!!!
Temps are 98.5 - 101 and humidity is 40 - 45%. Today is day 5. I'll be candling the first time on day 10.

Count me in. I have 18 Ameraucanas, 12 BCMs, 14 EEs, and 10 Bourbon Red Turkeys.

Kinda scary because this is my first hatch ever, but at the same time soooo exciting.

Oh boy, just heard that the breeder is shipping eggs next Monday. I can hardly wait to be in too!

Count me in too! Hatching BBS orpingtons from Miss Prissy-here at BYC, in the bator due May 3rd ( 13 fertile & going strong), and another dozen from MyPetChickendotcom under my broody hen "big mama" due May 6th ( 9 fertile & going strong). Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

My new babies were hatched saturday. Four BCMs, 2 Birchen (sp) Marans and a beautiful Blue Ameracuana from Sebrightmom. Got a 50/50 hatch, but they were shipped eggs, so happy I got half. Doing a lot of shipped eggs in a row and since I had no room for my own eggs I'm gonna have to toss them

Unless someone near me would like some Game and Easter Eggers to hatch. I hate to save them all and not have room for them or another bator running.

Working on my bator that I was going to use and will look for something inspirational for another after I get through this week. My mom's services are on thursday and I've been in a fog. She was the only person I could talk chickens with for more than 2 sentences. We'd talk about them a lot during our hours long talks. I have to find Silkie eggs soon since we had talked about them. My great grandmother had her prize Silkies and White Rocks since before me or even my mom were even born, so I need some honor chicks.

Meant to add if there is someone that wants these eggs I have saved to try hatching out please pm me. I have 10 that will be 1st gen EEs and Some Game mixes I wanted to try I haven't counted, but my girls usually lay like crazy and 4 or 5 more still to start, so have time for those. I'd be happy to let someone try their first hatch or just add to their flock. Let me know if anyone wants them.

Well, I couldn't wait for day 10 to candle so I did it today (day 7). I have 6 eggs. 2 look clear. the other four have air sacs, but I think one has a blood line. It's hard to see clearly because it's a green egg. The other ones look good. One light brown egg I can see movement clearly!!

Count me in too!! My first time trying to incubate eggs. The eggs shipped yesterday, from a BYCer of course, so hopefully they arrive tomorrow. I'm trying Barnevelder's. . . I think they are the prettiest birds and not to common either!! Incubator set up and ready. LG still air with egg turner. Humidity holding at 52-55% and temp right around 100. It is great to have so many people to experience a first hatch with. Helps keep the nerves a bay, I hope. Plus I'm also waiting for my new babies to arrive next Tues from MPC - 5 EE's and 3 Silkies
