They say silkies are very broody I have 8 and none have gone broody yet

Sorry to hear that about your silkies I think my silkie is a roo but it’s hard to tell do bantams like to go broody just any bantams I don’t know what kind is in the incubator but I have one that keeps trying to go broody

I only have 1 EE that goes broody right now (or she did once last year) . I had 2 other hens that would take turns going broody like literally I get 1 broke and I'm locking up the other. Unfortunately i lost both of them . One was an ee and the other mixed breed.


Hers another pic of Shelldon. Still getting use to his legs and trying to dry out. I told him his siblings might be happier if he would stop falling all over their eggs.

Setting 12 Turkey Eggs tonight. Chocolate Tom over Chocolate, Bourbon Red & Naragansette hens.

Sheldon is ADORABLE!!! CONGRATS!!!! and pooped...lol! I love when they rest on their egg buddies!!!

Here they are, my big beautiful turkey eggs. *fingers crossed* Hopefully there are at least 1 or 2 pure chocolates in the group. I didn't have turkeys last year, I miss having poults around. They're just so dang adorable.

Hatch #2 the kids named him Thunder Peeper... sebright is getting close and Milderds egg is the 4th to external pip. So much cuteness this one looks sorta purple to right now we'll wait and see it might have been the all white EE egg. It's one of the EE regardless.
