Big difference. The bantam is lucky if she weighs a pound. The buckeye roo is probably 8 pounds.
Yeah, i mean you could try but i suspect the eggs would be far to small for the potential chick. It might work out ok if the rooster of the pair was the bantam, then the eggs would be to large instead of to small, but it still might be fun to try just knowing the potential for a total loss

It's definitely not something I would plan to hatch. I doubt I will anytime soon, but it would definitely create a rather interesting bird.
 
So today is LOCK DOWN :celebrate here are the photos of the eggs day 18 here is my bantam egg 233CDEAC-B83E-4AAB-9C36-1D3356D0F178.jpeg I did not see any movement in this egg is this a bad thing :oops:here is one of my EE eggs C4612311-2339-490F-9B57-9A75039F4883.jpeg I seen movement in this egg super eggcited :woothere is my other EE I could not see in side of this egg 23F0FBA5-93ED-44F0-A856-E84B346EAECB.jpeg do the air cells look ok

Don t worry if you don't see movement. It's probably restinģ up. They're going to need all of the energy they can get shortly.

The aircells look pretty good to me. Then again, if they weren't there's nothing you could do about it. I know that it's exciting and hard to do, but the best thing you can do is let mother nature do her thing.
