May hatch-a-long

One of my eggs has hatched and one is zipping. I just got up and went to check on them.
1 down 33 left to go.I have to make my self a cup of coffee it's to be a long day.

The other 17 are just starting to pip now. It's like I set them on different days.

So far I've seen three eggs jiggling in the coop. We're on day 20 today. And the bees are here TODAY must pick them up today because of the weather. So we've rearranged work and evening plans to focus on our livestock.

Blues, they look so pretty. They are the ones that breed blue black or splash right? Becuase its a pairing gene not an independent gene like lavender or buff?

I don't know if he's English but my lavender is a heritage he's huge

This sounds like a dumb question. Day 19 starts tonight, or day 3 since my incubator counts down to hatch day.

Im not exactly such what time. I think around 8 or 9pm. Does it matter what time I start lock down? Like if I do lock down and hour or 2 early? I mean I imagine it doesn't make that big of a difference. But its just that I have to candle them and take out the egg turner and I'm sure the kids will want to help so i don't want to wait to late to get it done.

Ok I would like to join... I just put 9 turkey, 6 duck and 14 chicken eggs in lockdown to hatch monday.
I also have some due to hatch may 2nd and more may 9th
