Where did you get the Bresse? I live in Canada and have never seen any for sale or around

Hi everyone!!!:frow
Can I join? I have been reading through the thread and looking like a lot of babies have already hatched. I hatch in my classroom every year and set bantam cochins, quails and ducks on April 10th. We are due to hatch starting the 29th for quails, 1st for chicks and 8th for ducks
welcome to the hatch a long every one is always welcome

We are at Day 15 of our very first hatch. 6 eggs still in, I had set 9, but 3 were infertile, 1 of the 6 was questionable last candeling, waiting for it to be dark enough to candle tonight. 3 are EE, 2 (I think) are Welsummer and 1bdark Brahma Bantam. The Roo is either a Welsummer or RIR, Batam roo’s are Mille Fleur or dark Brahma.

Day 8. Love these little bantam eggs. They sure candle good .

so its day 11 cant wait to candle on day 14 i dont know if i will wait :celebrate:p i might candle a couple days before and on day 14 :drool cant wait tell lock down and to be checking for pips every two mins :pop:lau and then when you see a pip and wait by the bator all day :pop how is every ones hatch going
You COULD candle every day, but most don't recommend it. If you think about it, a broody gets up once a day to eat, drink & poop.
