May hatch-a-long

Pics
4 out of 5 of mine hatched normal all seen to be doing fine. The 5th never made it to hatch. EE are mixed breeds regardless of how they look. I think i remeber something about the amerucana gene but ill have to look it up. I know the rumpless aracona does have a high hatch morality it had to do with a double rumpless gene

I don't have anything to add on this quote. But I snapped a quick pic today for you of one of the f2 Sexlink chicks I mentioned before. Hatched all white and is turning this color. Makes me think the Sexlink's mother was a Delaware. The chick's father was a Barred rock. Pretty chick. I plan on keeping it around. One other has this coloring. The rest are white with black spots. Definitely no telling what you'll get when breeding a Sexlink.

Nope! Sit on those hands! Remember that 21 days is an estimate. You're still way in the clear time-wise. How have your temps been?

P.S. Thank you for the welcome! :jumpy
