Eggs are on day 6, candling tomorrow night to toss duds.

And i think i found my lash egg hen... I have a cinnimon queen puffy and droopy sitting by the water pail, acting very weak and slow. She also had discharge around her vent possibly internal laying. Unfortunately I can't seperate her right now as my med coop is the sebright coop and my integration coop is being used by the feed store chicks. I have a spare small dog house I'll have to see what i have for left over fencing to possibly turn that into a med coop.

Update 134 eggs set, 123 made it to lock down and 87 chicks hatched. WOW!!

OMG!!!!!! i have a PIP yay! i will try and get a photo i have chirping sounds next to it and hopefully she hatch's soon im going to go get the brooder ready and sit by the bator the rest of the day i will keep you up dated

UP DATE: there is chirps coming from the incubator i think she might hatch to night there are no other pips just the one but i think i might have one or two more pips tomorrow

9 bantams hatched! 2 bantams and 15 Bresse to go. 2 Bresse have externally piped. Now I have moved the 9 cheerleaders to the brooder I can hear some small peeps

Final Count: 7 Canadian Blue Bresse and 9 Bantam Wyandotte Golden Lace. Only 30% hatch rate on the shipped eggs but they did come a very long way. Sorry for the delayed post but we are battling flooding with the big thaw up here. Here are the pictures!

Thanks, those are the Bantam Wyandotte GL. Their mamas kept me in eggs all Winter

I just set 12 Bielefelder eggs on yesterday and I have another shipment coming in this week from another breeder. Can't wait to have some babies again.
