May hatch-a-long

Up to 13 legbars and a dozen olives!

Next batch on lockdown when I get around to it today. Only two batches after that and I'm done for the season unless another hen goes broody.

ive been painting my chicken coop and im going to start decorating it does any one have any ideas of what i could do to decorate it

Here we go! Barnyard mix eggs under a third-time-mother Cochin. I've had severe shrinkwrapping issues in the past (oh, Arizona) so hopefully, I won't need to step in with this hatch... please, chicken gods, please.

And then there were 2! Staggered hatch under a first time broody. Going to have to move them into a safe place and forgo the rest of the unhatched eggs.

Okay, so! Update time! I have 9 black bearded silkie eggs in the 'bator, plus 15 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and 6 more Jubilee Orpingtons.
I just candled my silkies and 5 look good! I hope hope hope I get a decent hatch!
Candled the BLRW's too and am not sure any are going to make it. :'( I blame my crappy post office. Even though I have asked for packages to be held for pick-up, they have sent them out for delivery nearly every time. So upsetting!
I set my silkies and BLRW's somewhere between the 10th-12th (I forgot; shame on me!) and 6 Jubilee Orpingtons 5/17!
