Joining!

2 Barred Rocks and 4 Guineas in the incubator on day 20/26. This is my first hatch and I am soooo excited. I am trying to stay away from the area as much as possible and just peek at the temp and humidity every few hours.

I have taken a pic of the eggs so I can compare what I see and detect if any have moved/rolled around. No signs yet.

Editing to add:

The 2 BR eggs are all that's left of 8 I set that were sent through the mail. Six didn't develop or quit on me.

2 of the Guineas are from a group of 4 that shipped. 2 quit.

2 of the Guineas eggs are from my porcelain pair. They have both done great. One was a day old when it went in and the other was about an hour old!

Day 20, still staring at silent, non moving eggs. And starting to freak out, just a little bit.....

And if hubby would stop yelling: "Oh look! A pip!" to see how fast I run to look, he might survive this hatch.
My Dear Husband will probably start doing things like this when he gets home from work today. He likes to pretend he doesn't care about the animals, but underneath he's a big softie.

Fun hubby, I like fun. If my bators were in a place where he would walk by them, mine would probably do the same thing.

Thanks guys fingers crossed my babies make it. I'll consider it a success even if I get one duckling out of these :) it's like waiting for a baby to be born. Hurry up Monday! :D

I hope they hatch for you. I just finished my incubator duck hatch.

400

These little cuties hatched Sunday .... White rock and New Hampshire mix.
ETA: 2 look like they have pink feathers already.
We set 11 chicken eggs and 12 guineas, these were the only 4 to hatch. :(
I'm not giving up though, we set 8 duck eggs and chicken eggs May 11 so we'll see how those do. So far all are viable, the kids loved the candling and seeing the babies kick and move! So fun!

I have 16 Cream Legbar eggs which go in lockdown on the 28th Fingers crossed!! I just put 9 Penedensecna eggs and 2 green eggers in yesterday. I have very mixed feelings about their chances as 3 of the Pene eggs were broken upon arrival so I expect the box was used as a football.
